In the book of Leviticus, the description of "offerings", and "sacrifices", is meant to be a foreshadowing of our Lord and Saviors, Jesus. Yeshua.
When He yielded up to the ghost,
(spirit and soul) He laid down His life, according to the testiment of Matthew, ONLY for the lost sheep of Israel. However, salvation is for the Jew and the Gentile.
His shed blood became to ultimate offering and sacrifice. And therefore there is no need for animal and bird sacrifice.
The Day of Atonement was given as a day to remember what Yeshua did, and to remember the mistakes of the ancestors of olde. And to remind oneself, not to make those same mistakes.
A few of those mistakes, according to the scriptures are:
°They forgot their first love and followed after false gods (Behemoth, Jezebel, Pride, Greed, Lust of the eyes and flesh, Demons)
°They offered sacrifices of blood (human, animal, and birds) to statues, false gods, the ocean spirits
°Sacrificed their kids to gods, giving kids in marriage to demons
°Decimating the alter (body) through sodomy, the utilization of menses
°Sexual perversion, pedophilia, same sex
°Taking a bribe against another from the tribes (sell outs, puppets)
°Lying on another (snitch) and it costs them their livelihood or life
°Giving worship and praise to Satan
°Unforgiveness, hatred, anger, pride, entitlement
°Blending multiple religions/spiritual practices
Just to name a few...
Yah never said that gods, demons and spirits don't exist. In fact, He said He created all things good and bad.
Isaiah 45:7
The Feast of Atonement is not just to apologize (repent), but also to apologize for the things those before you, did. It is to remind yourself of what to do and what not to do. It is for reconciliation.
The word alter is written in the book of Leviticus 13 times. Yah never had an issue with alters. He had an issue with the alter being decimated through the things done on them. The 2 forms of alters are:
☆The body
☆A physical thing
Nowhere in scripture has there been written as a commandment to erect an alter, dedicated to ancestors. But, it is written as a commandment to erect an alter dedicated to Yah.
Joshua 22 The Tribes built an alter for themselves, which was against the commandment
Joshua 8 Moses gave a commandment to the Israelites to build an Alter to The Lord
It does not say, build an alter for ancestors, for deities, shrines, an animal, or bird.
Your ancestors of old were given spiritual practices, culture, and instructions to follow for protection, safety, and provision. Get back to those practices. The right way.
