Hope In Jesus

The Prophesy Podcast Blog

The life and ministry of Jesus is the fulfillment of prophecy. Some prophecies have already been fulfilled, and others is yet to come.

In Matthew 2, it talks about the birth of Jesus, to the start of His work.

The chapter depicts names and places that not only have meaning, but also the fulfillment of prophecy.

"They replied to him, in Bethlehem of Judea, for it is so written by the prophet, And you Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, you are not in any way insignificant among the chief cities of Judah, for whom shall come a leader who will govern and Shephard My People Israel."

"Then was fulfilled what was spoken by Jeremiah the Prophet"

"And remained there until Herod's death, this was to fulfillment what the Lord had spoken by the prophet, out of Egypt have I called My Son."

"He went and dwelt in a town called Nazareth, so that what was spoken through the prophets might be fulfilled: He shall be called a Nazarene"

The word nazerene means branch, separated one. Throughout the scriptures there can be found many stories when God told the chosen ones, the house of Israel, to "come from amongst them" which means to separate yourselves from the others.

Or,

"You have been set apart, a royal priesthood". Also meaning, like Jesus, the chosen ones were not created to be like the other families on the earth.

Throughout the scriptures there are a plethora of parables and examples to know and to understand.

Ichabod: Where is the glory?

When God is NOT present you will not have peace

Emanuel: God is here

Israel: The Lord is with you

By observing the fulfillment of prophecies, we can expect the final prophecy to be fulfilled about the second coming of Jesus Christ.

His life and ministry is a demonstration of how to live and what to do until that final day arrives.

If the cabal knows that Jesus is real, then surely the church of Jesus Christ can put their hope in our Lord and Savior.
