Some versions of scriptures will say festival of Lights.
It may be worded as Feasts of Lights. Or, The Feast of Dedication. Others, may say, Chanukah.
The Bible states how Yeshua was in Jerusalem for the Feast of Dedication, and it was winter.
John 10:22
This tells us the season in which Chanukah was celebrated during the winter season. But where in Jerusalem was Jesus?
In Solomon's Temple.
John 10:23
Scriptures also points out how Jesus was teaching during Chanukah. And He was teaching about the work that He has done.
John 10:37-38.
Jesus also mentioned how the law stated that the people were "gods" . The Law that He was referring to, is The Law of Moses.
Moses, while on the mountain spoke to the 12 tribes of Israel and, amongst many things, taught the people The Ten Commandments.

Throughout the text, one would discover that The Ark was also within Solomon's Temple. And the two tablets were within that Ark. The Temple seemed to have been on a large plot of land as it had 12 entryways. Symbolizing The Twelve Tribes of Israel.
Nehemiah 3
Israel celebrated The Feast of Lights as it was written in The Law of Moses. It was said that there was not enough oil at Solomon's Temple for the lights. But God caused the oil to last for 8 days. And The Children of Yah were to remember how God provided for them. It was a celebration. To have an attitude of gratitude!
This story is important during this time in history because it is important to remember how God provided. And to keep your faith in what Yah is able to do. People will begin to see and experience things that were deemed as not normal. Because it was not part of everyday life. You faith will be tested, and one must press pass it. Remember the stories of your ancestors. How they were provided for. Remember their success stories. Remember their inner strength and spiritual gifts. It will help with getting through the days and the era.

Abraham was found faithful in his temptation and it was counted unto him as righteousness. Joseph in his distress kept the commandments, and was made lord of Egypt. Phinehas was zealous and fervent, obtained the covenant of an everlasting life. Joshua fulfilled God's word and was made judge over Israel. Caleb bearing witness in front of the congregation received land. David was merciful and was given the throne of an everlasting kingdom.
These are the stories of your ancestors to keep in mind. As well as what activists, leaders and freedom fighters have done, and said that were inspiring.
In conclusion, The Festival of Lights is 8 days of rememberance, celebration, and gratitude for the one who is worthy of opening the last seal. Jesus. Yeshua, The Messiah.
