Book of Joshua

When I read The Testament of Moses in The Apocryphia, it became an interest to read the Book of Joshua. Again.

Joshua was the successor of Moses over The Nation of Israel. Here, is where I first saw God refer to The 12 Tribes of Israel as a nation.

(It could be mentioned in earlier chapters, however, I'm stating the book of Joshua is where I saw it for the first time)

One thing I liked about Joshua is that He took his calling seriously, and followed the instructions. 600,000+ Israelites were alot of people to manage!

Throughout the book, I picked up a few Rhema words which I will share some of them here. There is a Bible Study Podcast in which you can listen in on at your leisure.

  1. The Laws of Moses is found in 5 books. Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy

  2. Joshua was told to meditate twice a day on those laws, found in The Books of The Laws of Moses. The same Laws Jesus always mentioned.

  3. It made me realize that the books of Moses was only meant for The Nation of Israel.

  4. A prophecy could take 40 years to come to pass

  5. One of God's commandments for the Nation of Israel was to build an alter to God. I noticed, it was a commandment.

  6. God was always with the decendants of the those who were in Egypt

  7. The Bible is actually a real, legit recording of events that really did happen

  8. God proved Himself to be real and alive

  9. The things God told Israel to do, was for their benefit, provision, and protection

  10. The Promised Land is a combination of The Middle East and Africa.

  11. Whatever is coming for those who say that they are jews and are not, but lie.... will cause the world to acknowledge the real chosen ones.
